ANNUAL SHINE DAY! hosted by the community engagement committee Friday, December 20th | 9am - 12pm By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community. VOLUNTEER LOCATION: 2300 Pellissier Place City of Industry, CA 90601 We will be volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank assembling food packages for over 29,000 families, older adults, and children who face food insecurity in Los Angeles County. (The food packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal and other non-perishable food items.) REGISTER HERE Instructions on how to register: 1.) Click on the link above 2.) Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "click here to register" 3.) On the next page, enter your first name and email address (the system uses this information to check that you don't already have an account with us) 4.) Fill out your information 5.) Click on "create volunteer profile" at the bottom of the page 6.) Exit page Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation with all the logistics and forms. If you do not receive the email confirmation, please check your spam/junk folder. PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers must be able to lift between 10-25 lbs. Arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in. Plenty of free parking available on-site. The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 18. No walk-ins are allowed - all volunteers must register online ahead of time. For your safety, headphones/earbuds cannot be worn in the production/volunteer area. DRESS CODE: All volunteers must wear closed toe/closed heel shoes. Casual and comfortable attire is recommended.
