Charity Classic | Pickleball Match Play
Registration Register Here Pickleball Match Play | Wednesday, November 6 Don't miss out on the Pickleball Charity Classic—a night of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and giving back to the community. Players of all skill levels are welcome, but participants should have prior experience playing pickleball and be familiar with the rules. Also, get ready for some thrilling raffles and auctions! We'll have fantastic prizes up for grabs, including top-of-the-line racquets and pickleball paddles. As an added bonus, we will be auctioning off group and individual tennis lessons for those looking to expand their sporting horizons. We'll also have special drink specials available for purchase, so you can stay refreshed throughout the evening. Check-in begins at 6:30 PM and match play begins at 7:00 PM. Price: $30 | Register Here Making the Foster Care Experience Better Entering the foster care system can be a stressful and scary time for children. Foster children are frequently moved from one home to another during a crisis with only the clothes on their backs. Today, the Hilltoppers Auxiliary provides emergency clothing and necessities to children referred by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). These supplies are distributed through the Foster Children's Resource Center (FCRC) located in the San Fernando Valley. Our center gives each child new school clothing, a jacket, pajamas, socks, underwear, personal care items, a backpack, school supplies, a book, and a toy. Each child is given personal attention and treated with dignity and respect, helping them to feel special. Social workers, foster parents and family members report that after visiting the Center, children experience a boost in self-esteem and improved school attendance and performance. Foster Children's Resource Center is financially supported through donations, foundation grants, and the generosity of the Hilltoppers auxiliary. We Support Them while They Protect Us For The Troops is an all-volunteer run non-profit organization dedicated to providing members of the American military with 'We Care' packages containing basic necessities, goodies, games and—most of all—a show of support. Since its inception in 2005, For The Troops has substantially grown in volunteers and donors, and has distributed more than 250,000 packages year-round to American troops who risk their lives overseas every day—far away from the comforts of home. jessica.farias@invitedclubs.com | 818.360.1071 x 2132
