Coming to the United States from Mexico at a young age, Chef Danny Perez quickly adapted to the new culture. Inspired by his grandfather's purposeful cooking, he pursued a career in culinary arts. With years of experience, including winning Iron Chef Tucson, he now brings his passion to the Arizona Sands Club as the Executive Chef. His dedication to community, food, and people shines through in every dish he creates.

Bear Down Kitchen

Sands Club Members have exclusive access to eat with the Athletes in Bear Down Kitchen on the 4th Floor! An all-you-can-eat buffet representing an effort to help student-athletes and other physically active students make better dietary choices and reach their performance goals!

Hours Monday - Friday: Breakfast 7 AM – 11 AM, $12 | XLife discount applies! Open to the public | Non Members $16

Beverages

Arizona Sands Club has a well-rounded cocktail and wine list focusing mainly on domestic vintages to match our menu. Our informed dining staff can find the right pairing for every dish we serve. Our cocktails are made with the freshest, cleanest ingredients possible and a few house-made ingredients as well. As a result, you may find our drinks slightly different than what you’re used to, but we’re happy to make adjustments if you find they’re not what you were expecting.
