About Amy
I’m Amy Menconi. While studying Community Health and Wellness, I was introduced to the art of Yoga. My journey began with taking classes in Costa Rica. Recently, I traveled to Spain where I continued my education with International Frog Lotus Yoga. My style of teaching is rooted in the breath-based Vinyasa Flow and draws on other types of Yoga; including Ashtanga, Hatha, Kundalini, Forest Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yin. I encourage my Yoga practitioners to move at their own pace and work slowly toward more challenging poses. When I am not teaching or on my mat, you can find me cooking vegetarian meals, walking my beagle, riding my bike, hiking or delving into anatomy or a Yoga philosophy book. I enjoy traveling, and exploring the beautiful sites on earth to learn about local cultures. My weekly lessons accommodate all levels of ability and age groups. I work with athletes looking to balance their workout; such as golfers who require increased focus and flexibility

About Amber
Amber Gillogly, LMT, Massage Therapist has a certification from Pacific school of Health and Sciences in Chicago. She is also certified in Reiki and Yomassage®. She has worked in the Women's Athletic Members Club in Chicago and in corporate settings for workplace wellness. She has been part of the healing community at Sat Nam Yoga Chicago. She can provide therapeutic massage and Swedish massage for relaxation. Therapeutic massage works toward the resolution of a specific complaint and helps relieve pain, and reduce stress. Depending on your goals, she will apply techniques that will work best for you. Trained in Eastern and Western massage, she has a variety of techniques she can pull from. She can provide trigger point therapy, stretching techniques, mobilization, reflexology, acupressure, Tui Na, cupping, gua sha. Amber knows from experience the restorative and rejuvenating value to be gained from a session of Massage Therapy. She has the ability to recognize a pathway for her clients to relax, release and restore.
